Stone House Books is a husband and wife team. Lori reads and collects mystery novels and Darrel does the science fiction and adventure books.

We have especially enjoyed older children's books and Darrel has a life long collection of Edgar Rice Burroughs books.

Q. What about books that are not listed on your site?
A. We have over 9,000 books. Please email us any request about books not listed.

Q. How do I order a book?
A. Just browse through our site or use our Find a book page. When you find a book you would like, add it to your cart. When you are done shopping, just enter your information and choose a payment method.

Q. How do I pay for my book?
A. Payment must accompany order- checks and money orders accepted. Please include $7.00 for first book and $1.50 for each additional book to cover shipping/packaging; insurance is extra. We ship USPS. Use the shopping cart on our site and it will add up your order and allow you to purchase through PayPal or send check or money order.

Q. Can I return any book if I'm not satisfied?
A. Any book may be returned within 5 days of receipt and must be adequately packaged and insured.

Q. Do you guarantee that you will still have the book?
A. All books are offered subject to prior sale.

Q. Will you hold a book?
A. Telephone and email orders held seven days.
